I should have named him as the Main Accused. I shouldn’t have taken the blame on myself and saved him.” Much before, late P V Narasimha Rao, astute reader of personalities that he was to the fullest, fathoming Dwivedi’s utter disloyalty to the Congress fully had virtually castigated, disparaged him to the wall-corner leaving no assignment for him. He was then fully crest fallen. Later, Rao himself was hounded out. Dwivedi bounced back to the mainstream Congress and became closest to Sonia Gandhi who did not then know that it was Dwivedi to a great extent along with others {his friends in CPI, CPI-M, Forward Bloc, RSP, Socialist parties, Samajwadi Party, Janata Party etc} who discouraged Rajiv Gandhi from forming Government in 1989 ) Congress President Gandhi, her son-daughter, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Maneka Gandhi) propping, promoting strategic manipulations against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra, Gandhis,…perhaps Mahatma Gandhi also, after intensely hob-nobbing with them frequently thereby openly extricating his anger on Gandhis, Congress as he holds them flagrantly responsible for the country’s non-development in all sectors due to their absolute control of power for from the inception of Indian Governance in this country.
Complete monopoly over all others in the garb of democracy-loving, according to Dwivedi.
It should be mentioned here that his student (once his body guard as well) — resident of Dev Nagar situated within the hand shake distance of his teaching (?!?) area SGTB Khalsa College — still vividly give details of how he in 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s has been openly bumchum with the above anti-Congress personalities, anti-Congressism, inhibited anti-Nehru/Gandhi/Sonia Gandhi/Rahul G/Priyanka G(andhi) V(adra).
According to him (Congress President should have applied the rules for the Congressmen she had pronounced in Madhya Pradesh convention of the Congres years ago; had she done that then, he would have been ejected from the party then itself as his real self would have come out), Dwivedi then R/o Janak Puri, South-West Delhi, used to intensely interact with “Rajnaitik Dushman” of the Congress, Gandhis.
He due to his sharing Congress-strategies, plans with his anti Congress forces was greatly responsible for the defeat of Congress in Delhi in the last assembly elections, in the previous Lok Sabha elections. …Lucky Dwivedi, so far, none in the Congress went against him because, Congress President Sonia Gandhi duly supported him. Because of her, Rahul, Priyanka did the same.
Talking then against Janardan Dwivedi would have meant inviting trouble for them. They avoided that. Now they are packed with minutest details of how Dwivedi damaged Congress systematically.
They even now are ready to spill all beans on him no-holds-barred. …Partymen from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, NCR, UP (non in his self claimed UP home town Banda have ever heard of him being R/o of that place), Madhya Pradesh (he is slightly known there because of his close proximity to late Arjun Singh and now Congress Treasurer MotiLal Vora), Gujarat, Odisha…they openly say, they have fat books of complaints against Janardan Dwivedi, how he persuaded/terrorised them in the name of “Congress President ka Order Hai…” to deliver to him mammoth sums of dough.
If any one failed, he/she was manipulated out of the Congress, such strong, intense, deep his promximity to the “CP” was. (it must be same still, according to many in the party). Defeated Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for instance has innumerable accounts/examples/incidents of being pressurized by Janardan Dwivedi for mammoth funds : Pay or Chuck off. Helpless, Hooda used to collect funds and fill Dwivedi-coffers. He now wishes, he had got it clarified from “CP”jee. He is now getting informations that those funds went to the BJP, Left Parties, anti-Congress forces. He is now biting his hands strongly. …
At The Moment : Day after, “shady”, “multiple-edged”, “Narendra Modi-praiser”, “Congress-dismisser”, “anti-Gandhis”, “hypocrisy-propagating” Janardan Dwivedi’s flagrant pro-Narendra Modi remark thereby disparaging Congress to the extreme at a time when the party is not in power, livid Congress slams him in non holds barred fashion.
A day after party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi described Narendra Modi’s victory in the Lok Sabha elections as the victory of “Indianness” (Sonia Gandhi’s is not Indian , a livid Congress leadership on Thursday severely denounced the views of the old Nehru-Gandhi family loyalist, read out a long interpretation of “Indianness” by Indira Gandhi for his benefit and hinted at disciplinary action against him. Mentionably, Behind-Iron-Curtain specializing (now compulsively ‘out in public’ because the party is out-of-power, thanks to his Congress-damaging mechanisms) Dwivedi not long ago effected so many partymen’s whistling out without any valid reasons; they forcibly left Congress, koined BJP etc and made it win in the last elections. Congress was out (and still is) in the woods. .
Now,rapped on the knuckles, the 69-year-old veteran took pains to clarify his position. He denied having said Modi’s victory was a triumph of Indianness but at the same time asserted that he does not need to take lessons on Indianness or Bharatiyata from anyone. Hours later, Dwivedi met A K Antony, chairman of the party’s disciplinary committee, and explained his position.
Both Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi are said to be furious and Dwivedi’s fate now hangs in a balance.
Damocle’s Sword would fall on him any day now.
It is not new for the Congress to distance itself from unpalatable remarks made by its leaders, but the manner in which it condemned the senior-most general secretary’s observation strengthened the theory doing the rounds about his possible exit from the party. Considered a 10, Janpath alter-ego, maker of Sonia Gandhi-blue prints, Her Kitchen Cabinet Insider, Dwivedi has been not at ease with the gradual powershift to 12, Tughlak Lane, Rahul’s official residence. His removal as the head of the media department was seen as an instance of this powershift and his diminishing clout in the party.
“The Congress party condemns strongly and vehemently this thought and the attempt to equate Narendra Modi with Bharatiyata,” AICC general secretary and head of the communication department Ajay Maken said at an urgently convened press conference. He said “what Janardan Dwivedi said was diametrically opposite to Congress’s ideology and thought and its idea of Indianness”.
Asked whether the party could take disciplinary action against Dwivedi, Maken said, “The central leadership will soon take a decision on that.”
Maken then read out excerpts from a 1970 address delivered by former PM Indira Gandhi at Kashi Vidyapeeth on Indianness to spell out the party’s vision and views on Bharatiyata. It later circulated copies of the speech.
Maken said Modi can never be the symbol of Indianness. “If one look at the seven-month rule of Modi and his role in the 2002 riots in Gujarat when he was the Chief Minister, it cannot be said that Modi was a symbol of Indianness. In seven months, we have seen the kind of incidents that have happened in Trilokpuri and Bawana under his nose, we have seen one after another attack on churches in Delhi,” he said.
BOTTOM LINE : Swords’re finally out in the Congress. Black Sheep’s been identified. They say, more’re (more dangerous than Dwivedi) there in 24 Akbar Road. Frantic efforts are already on to nail them down, identify them, expose them, kick them out, show them to the vultures desperately looking for such creatures.
