“Modi’s ‘OK’ till 2015 Budget” – GovindAcharya

Inveterate, pragmatic, all-issue (in all weather) covering non-compromising “no wishy-washy”-nor-“no-riff-raff” Idealogue Extraordinaire (convivial, approachable) — patience personified to the fullest — Acharya Govindacharya gives full vent (with no qualms of any kind whatsoever) to Pradhan Mantri Narendra DamodarBhai Modi in an exclusive freewheeling, no-holds-barred meaningful (no pun in it at all) interview with Just In Print.

Before the Government came to power, before elections, during governance, a lot of promises were done , many assurances were given that there would be a sea change in governance, overhaul of the system, changes of lawsof 18th, 19th centuries…nothing visible so far. What is your opinion?

It is true that all phenomena, rules, regulations, systems, conventions, dogmas etc relating to 18th and 19th centuries — even parts of 20th century — need to be changed. India is in a new era. 21st century for India indeed is a new augmentation of newness. Rule need to be changed, laws need to be changed, police reforms should be there, governance should be changed, people should be included in inclusive governance, education should change, bureaucracy should change, bureaucrats’ mindset should change, how much are they needed in the administration is to be exactly assessed, justice should be quickest, easiest, people’s right for accountability from administration officially initiated, society should be coherent yet without any dogma…There are many more phenomena that need to be changed for a new India for all, of all, by all. It will be the India where all Indians will be all round happy. It will be assessed how Modi will fare in all this only after next year’s Annual Budget. Also, it will become clear where India is after that. Modi will be assessed then. Before that happens, let him work. Give him time, opportunity, scope to stretch him to the fullest to deliver. …After 2015 Budget et al, he will be surely assessed and commented upon then.

How is it that Modi continues to be old fashioned in governance, will he then be able to deliver goods ?

After Pandit JawaharLal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Narendra Modi is the only PM who is hard working. We will have to wait till next year’s Annual Budget to assess/analyse his PrimeMinistership, Governance-ability, Administrative-prowess. …Yes. 2015 Annual Budget is his BenchMark (of his PM-ability, Administartive-capability etc).

Article 370 etc continue to remain. BJP in BJP-Government has still not revoked it. What then?

Is it BJP-Government or (Narendra) Modi Government? Modi is the Prime Minister. BJP MPs are part of that Government. That’s it. Lets see what decisions Modi takes and how he executes them for the all round welfare of the countrymen, the country, the country’s image, the country’s all round upliftment, the country’s credibility, the country’s credulousness.

Modi’s inviting FIIs in the country. Then what is the vision, conception of Swadeshi conceptualized by RSS and BJP particularly by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay?

Now no opinion can be given on this concept till the new Budget comes as the last budget was an interim budget initiated by the last UPA Government.

What do you think on Team Modi?

I have not yet thought on this issue. It is his Government. There are so many people to advise him. …Modi is sensitive about people’s perception. When ever he feels that the people are not convinced with the subject he immediately takes corrective measures.

BOTTOM LINE : Irrepressible, irretrievable, Laconic — cogent with Just In Print — ‘Acharya’ GovindAcharya,The Poignant Do-gooder 1-Man Effective Congruous Think Tank is having Lip Smacking Achar in great hope of Bharat Varsha-ka-Oonnatee, Bharat Vaaseeon-ka-Ootthan, Garv Se Oonchaa Rahe Sarkar Hamara.
