He speaks the language of aggrieved, victimized, mocked, cheated, traumatized people in the hands of feudal lords of Congress and its constituents. He dwells on issues lurking beneath the hearts of hapless public ridiculed by the muscled men of political lords. He passionately speaks the language of every common Indian suppressed, neglected and most misunderstood by the UPA’ oxford scented arrogant brains who believed in lashing out on the common man whenever they dissented or protested against the mounted burden of price rise, non availability of food, water or electricity or jobs. Ignoring the ground realities, experts in the Government either protected their skin in the name of democracy or coalition dharma (read adharma of protection to scam-masters under UPA umbrella held by its Chairperson).
He speaks through the hearts of teeming millions and the crowd cheers ..with equal response…yells ..goes nostalgic.. chanting his name both hands stretched towards sky. He touches the sensitive chords of pain, miseries, woes. He speaks what the public wants to listen, their concerns and deprivations. He is not a Highwayman, a character from English literature who could rescue victims from the wretched but a simple man with dedication committed to the concerns of the Nation and her inhabitants rightful inheritors of fruits of democratic republic. The crowd greets him with open arms not expecting any individual benefits but someone who can be relied to bring glory to the Nation, someone who can be trusted to bring back the honor of the country, someone who has only development as prime agenda. The scene seemingly have close semblance to some old movies of fifties and sixties and even seventies.
He only reminds the public illusionary commitments made by the ruling lords to provide employment to the crores of unemployed, of food, water, electricity to the poor, road connectivity upto the far flung areas, empowerment to women, security, and what not. All proved hollow. The scams ridden economy is gone berserk with swollen accounts of the rulers leaving public on destiny. He recalls how Lal Bahadur Shastri’s slogan of ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kissan’ now has become meaningless when soldiers are butchered by Pakistan and the Government at the Center remains inactive and hosts lavish lunch reception to the Pakistan’s visiting emissary. China continued its excursions violating LOC several times so and so that she built in roads this side of the border and similar stunts were attempted on the borders of east. 7 Race Course and 24 Akbar Road remained unaffected. They remained unperturbed even over secret deals in defense, scandal over choppers. Why they should bother suiciding farmers? How the farmers of the country embraced path of suicides due to the apathy of the Central Government contrary to the welfare of the “Kissan”? asking only appropriate prices due to them..ah.. is another episode.
Now on election spree, Congress alluring voters with more dreams for the farmers. “Har Haath Shakti Har Haath Tarakee”… “Kattar Soch Nahee Yuva Josh ” meaningless confusing slogans lacking any definite agenda. It appears the grand old party has lost all strategical tacts. How can one run a Government with immature “Yuva Josh”? One needs to have maturity and wisdom to bring back the derailed Nation. Which secularism the Congress boasts about? One does not become sole arbitrarer of secularism simply by accusing others, dividing and putting the minority communities in one basket or by spreading hatred against the majority community. “Chopping of..…..into small pieces”… “Maut ka Saudagar”… several other accusations, abusive terminology only reflect Congress is oblivious of cadre in its stock. And now UPA chairperson meets Imam of Jama Masjid to use his religious position to influence Muslim voters confirming that the Congress itself has been indulged in polarization the social fabric of the country. Just on 18th March, 2014, at Hapoli in Arunachal Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi accused BJP dividing the people on political and religious lines. This tune is over played by Congress leaders and NC leaders in the State openly. Skina Ittoo, a minister in J&K seeking support for NC swearing over Quran, is sheer violation of very First clause of Model Code of Conduct.
Dynasty is shaken. In UPA, a desperate mother is out to see her son crowned as King using every strategy even at the cost of the Nation by converting elections into “dangal ” of Minorities v/s Majority. In J&K, both father and son appear having lost the way. After throwing the autonomy hat in the ring and not finding anything concrete against BJP and sensing strong Modi wave, they have started accusing BJP playing divisive politics and communal. Offensive strategy has made Modi more taller. But people now (after Kishtwar episode and throwing out Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir) understand who is communal. To prove secular credentials of the ruling alliance in the State, both Congress and the NC should have inserted Secular in the Constitution of the State first. But Congress dare not displease NC. Pleasing one community in entire country is Congress way of secularism and protecting interest of corrupt is the Congress way of democracy.
But it is too late now. Jibs from other liliputians cannot stop change direly required for the betterment, peace and prosperity of the country. People should give Modi a chance for a better tomorrow.
