BJP leader, constantly RSS ideology-swearing, Sadhvi Prachi (She is also a Union Minister in the present Government headed by Narendra DamodarDas Modi) is crystal clear : Hindus must boycott films of Khans and adapt to Radhika Apte (with lineage of Narayan Apte, hung to death with Nathuram Godse for murdering Mahatma Gandhi), adopt Radhikalike more sveltes among Hindus. They are now all set to tantalise, allure, impress, provocate, provoke the countrymen of all hues in their favor so that soon, the countrymen turn away from Khans and other Muslims.
Apte was born on 7 September 1985 in Pune as the daughter of Pune’s leading neurosurgeon and chairman of Sahyadri Hospital, Dr. Charudutt Apte, Chipavan Brahmin Marathi community by birth. She is an economics and maths graduate from Fergusson College, Pune. After doing four films, she moved to London and studied contemporary dance at London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Radhika Apte first appeared in a small role in the Hindi film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! in 2005. Actor Rahul Bose, who had seen Apte perform in Anahita Oberoi’s play Bombay Black, suggested her name to director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhurywho cast her in his Bengali film Antaheen along with Aparna Sen, Sharmila Tagore and Rahul Bose. She played the role of Brinda Roy Menon, a TV journalist, in Antaheen.
In 2009 she had her first Marathi release, KBC productions’ Gho Mala Asla Hava by Sumitra Bhave & Sunil Sukthankar in which she appeared as Savitri, a village girl. She later collaborated with Sumitra Bhave & Sunil Sukthankar again on the Hindi docufiction Mor Dekhne Jungle Mein. That year, she had also worked on Jatin Wagle’s Ek Marathi Manoos,[8]Akash Khurana’s Life Online, about “a bunch of youngsters working in a BPO” and Amol Palekar’s Marathi film,Samaantar.[5] In 2010, she was seen in Maneej Premnath’s thriller The Waiting Room and later appeared in a significant role in Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra and its sequel. 2011 she appeared in the anthology film I Am and in Shor in the City under Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films banner. She worked for the third time with Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar on Ha Bharat Majha, a film inspired by Anna Hazare’s movement that was shot in 14 days and screened at various film festivals.
In 2013, she was seen in the Bengali film Rupkatha Noy. About her character she said, “I play Sananda, an IT engineer, who is a single mother of a three-year-old child. Sananda had a dreadful past, which keeps haunting her”.Apte’s first four 2014 releases were Postcard, Pendulum, Legend[ and Vetri Selvan in four different languages—Marathi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil, respectively—after which another Marathi film of hers, Lai Bhaari, released.Pendulum, which was described by Apte as a “story on magic realism which takes you through multiple layers of parallel realities, or apparent realities”, had her playing a working woman in relationship with a younger man,[19] while in Vetri Selvan she had played the role of a lawyer. Legend and Lai Bhaari were commercial success, the latter breaking the opening weekend box office record[21] and becoming the highest grossing Marathi film of all time.
She has over a dozen upcoming films in various languages. She has finished shooting for three Hindi films – Manjhi: The Mountain Man directed by Ketan Mehta, “Hunter” directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, which both she has described as “typical masala films”, and Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur. Manjhi: The Mountain Man is based onDashrath Manjhi and Radhika plays Manjhi’s wife Falguni Devi in the film. In the South, she has been filming for the Tamil film Ula and for a Malayalam film with Fahadh Faasil. She has further more signed up for The Field, the feature debut of Rohit Karn Batra, and Leena Yadav’s Parched, a U.S.-Indian co-production.
Apte is actively involved with theatre and has been part of several stage plays, mostly in Marathi language. She is associated with Mohit Takalkar’s theatre troupe Aasakta in her hometown and has acted in plays like Tu, Purnaviram,Matra Ratra and Samuel Beckett’s That Time with Rehan Engineer.[5] She also performed a commercial Hindi playKanyadaan and an English play named Bombay Black.[8] In 2013, she was part of a Marathi play named Uney Purey Shahar Ek, which was an adaptation of Girish Karnad’s Benda Kaalu on Toast (“Baked Beans of Toast”) and she has stated that she has plans to do an English play in London. Apte has said that she prefers to work in experimental theatre.
Radhika Apte has also acted in a number of short films, including Darmiyan, in which she played a college girl Ekta, and Vakratunda Swaha, which was filmed by Ashish Avikunthak over a period of 12 years. She played one of the lead roles in Anurag Kashyap’s short film on eve teasing, That Day After Everyday, which was released in YouTube in 2012.

“Our children do not get right samskars from the movies of the Khans. They promote love jihad,” Sadhvi Prachi said. “Promote Radhika Apte and more like us.”
She said, “Love Jihad was not a form of inter-religion marriage but a forcible change in one’s beliefs with criminal intentions. Hindu organisations will never tolerate this.”
From marriage, Sadhvi Prachi veered to the need for Hindus to have more children.
Prachi said, “The population of Hindus is on the decline. They must have more children to maintain a balance (between communities) in the country.”
Another BJP leader and MP, Sakshi Maharaj, had recently said Hindus should have four kids. “If a Hindu has four children, one can work for the country, one can protect the borders, one can join the RSS and one can serve the parents,” he had said.
Later, the party upbraided Sakshi Maharaj for his comment.
She also took turns at hard-line Hindu leaders’ favourite punchbag — Mother Teresa. Sadvi Prachi criticised Mother Teresa, saying she was opposed to laws against conversion
Actress Radhika Apte is back in news for something she wouldn’t like to be known for. According to reports, a video featuring the actress in the nude has been doing the rounds since Sunday on the instant messaging app WhatsApp. The clip is reportedly a scene from a 20-minute short film directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Enraged at the violation, director Anurag Kashyap approached the Mumbai Police which immediately took action to nab the culprit.

“My story was inspired by a true story and is a very powerful film. It was very difficult to make this short film due to this little sequence in the film of a few seconds that involves the actress to lift her dress and expose her lower front part and needed that very minor partial nudity front shot. It took us so much time to do it in a non-sexual way, as it is meant to be absolutely non-sexual and we took all the care we could. It was not easy to find an actor who is brave enough to participate in it. The entire shooting crew was women as we knew that we were making something as sensitive as this. And there were girls at every stage of the post-production. At every stage of the post-production, that part was either sent blank or pixelated before being sent. So, nobody even knew who is a part of the film. And everybody assumes that since it is an Indian film, it will always be pixelated. After taking all the care, the film was delivered to New York a month back. And then, all of a sudden after a month from nowhere, this video popped up online,” he told.
The director who held himself responsible for putting Radhika in the spotlight said that he immediately approached Mumbai Police to take action.
“Radhika Apte herself was so proud of it. But when you put out a video like this without context, people start making jokes on it. You try to take a step forward as a filmmaker, they take you five steps back. And she feels victimised and I feel responsible. I called up our police commissioner Rakesh Maria as soon as I came to know of it and he immediately acted upon it. He immediately called ACP crime branch Mr Prasanna and he had put the cyber crime branch to work on it on priority. I am confident that they will eventually catch the guy who started it. They have written to Facebook and WhatsApp also. We want that something like this should not happen in the future.”
The short film is a part of an international project having six short films directed by directors from different countries put together to make a big film. It is meant for release only in the international market.
Now to Radhika Apte’s forefather Narayan Dattatraya Apte : (1911 – 15 November 1949) was an Indian activist and entrepreneur who was executed for his role in the assassination of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
In 1932, Apte graduated from Bombay University as a Bachelor of Science. After obtaining his B.Sc., Degree, Apte accepted a teacher’s job at Ahmednagar. During his stay at Ahmednagar, he was married to Mr Phadtare’s daughter named Champa. He appeared for his B.T. examination and got his degree. In 1939, Apte joined the Hindu Mahasabha. While Gandhi was staying at Panchagani, a group of some twenty-five young men led by Apte staged a protest against Gandhi’s policies on 22 July 1944. Apte planned and executed another such demonstration before Gandhi while he stayed in the sweepers’ colony in Delhi. Apte considered himself an expert prognosticator when it came to reading the stars and predicting the future. His predictions that killing Gandhi would somehow magically reunify India with Pakistan and that he would live to be both old and revered throughout India proved to be inaccurate.
He worked with Nathuram Godse for almost six years under the Hindu Mahasabha. On 28 March 1944 the publication of Marathi daily Agrani started at Pune. Godse was its editor and Apte its manager. It bore a picture of Vinayak Damodar Savarkaron its front page. Apte was present on the spot at Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination, with Godse.
He was executed by hanging, simultaneously with Nathuram Godse, on 15 November 1949, at Ambala Jail
